Terms of use
Last updated: 16 September 2026
By using Mirror guide you agree to what follows. If you do not, please do not use it.
What Mirror guide is
Mirror guide shows where makeup products go, drawn over a live view of your own face. It is a guide for learning technique. It is not a filter, and it does not alter how you look in the image.
Mirror guide is not medical or dermatological advice. Shade suggestions are estimates based on a colour reading and your own choices, not a professional consultation. Face-shape readings are rough estimates from a couple of measurements, not a diagnosis.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, under You → Delete my account.
We may suspend an account that is used to abuse the service or to break the law.
Products and skin
Always patch-test a new product and follow the instructions of whoever made it. Stop using anything that irritates your skin or eyes, and speak to a pharmacist or doctor if a reaction does not settle. Take particular care with anything applied near the eyes, such as waterline pencils and lash products.
What we cannot promise
The service is offered as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that face tracking will work on every device or in every light, or that a suggested shade will suit you. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the app.
Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.
Content and ownership
The app, its text, illustrations and code belong to us. You may use them for your own personal use. Please do not copy, resell or redistribute them.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top will tell you when. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new version.
